Pre-Ride Safety Check Get to know the feel of your wheelchair and its capabilities. Hi-fortune recommends that you perform a safety check before each use to make sure your wheelchair operates smoothly and safely. Before riding, you should be trained in the safe use of this wheelchair by your authorized Hi-fortune Provider.

Your wheelchair is designed to provide optimum stability under normal driving conditions—dry, level surfaces composed of concrete, blacktop, or asphalt. However, Hi-fortune recognizes that there will be times when you will encounter other surface types. For this reason, your wheelchair is designed to perform admirably on packed soil, grass, and gravel.

Your HM303 requires routine maintenance checks. You can perform some of these checks, but others require assistance from your authorized Hi-fortune Provider. Preventive maintenance is very important. If you follow the maintenance checks in this section as scheduled, you can help ensure that your wheelchair gives you years of trouble free operation.

Do not use either of the manual wheel locks to stop the wheelchair while driving it. This can cause your wheelchair to become unstable and tip. Weekly Checks Check for proper tire inflation. If a tire does not hold air, see your authorized Hi-fortune Provider for replacement of the tube. ...

If you have pneumatic tires and you have a flat tire, you can replace the tube. If your wheelchair is equipped with a solid tire insert, then you must replace the entire wheel assembly. Replacement tires, tubes, and wheel assemblies are readily available through your authorized Hi-Fortune Provider. ...
