For 2602:
Access to the fuel tank is gained through an access panel located underneath the fiberglass leaning post. Access will
require the removal of the battery trays. After the trays are removed, the fuel tank access cover can then be removed.
Filters
The fuel water separator for all legacy models is mounted to the transom wall in the bilge area for all Yamaha and some
Mercury engines. It can be accessed through the splash well access cover.
Note: Mercury engines less than 115 HP have a fuel water separator located on the engine itself. Please refer to the
Mercury owner's manual for specific location.
