Gloves with knuckle protection are labelled "KP" in the CE pictogram.
Even if the protective gloves fulfil "Performance class 2" in some of the
required tests, the overall performance may still be classified as "Per-
formance class 1". The overall performance is classified based on the
lowest result from all the required tests.
The performance classes achieved in the individual tests are listed in the
product-specific section within this user information.

2.1 | Intended use

The gloves described in this information sheet are designed to be used
for riding motorcycles in road traffic.
The gloves can protect against weather conditions, without unnecessarily
restricting the dexterity that the wearer requires for operating the controls
Some gloves have knuckle protection. The knuckle protec-
tion must cover all four finger joints and provides limited
impact absorption plus abrasion protection for the back
of the hand in the event of an accident or falling off the
motorcycle, when the rider's hands may hit the road and
slide across the road surface.
