Quidway® NetEngine 40 Series Universal Switching Router Line Processing Units
Type of LPUs
The NE40 supports 2 types of LPUs, LPUE and LPUF. LPUE does not support hot swapping
because its sub-card is fixed on it. Differently, LPUF is separated from its sub-cards (the
flexible card series), so it can be configured with one or two PIM cards that is swappable.
LPUE supported by the NE40 include:
