Digi ConnectTank Getting Started Guide Introduction to Digi ConnectTank Digi ConnectTank offers a low cost and seamless solution to monitor remote single tank locations. It has a proven built-in ultrasonic sensor that periodically monitors the tank liquid level and alerts the backend via Device Cloud.

• Digi ConnectTank stores up to 96 sensor readings. • Digi ConnectTank stores data in case of a network outage. Stored data is published when the network becomes available. • Digi ConnectTank is highly configurable, which avoids the need for custom programming and development.
Digi ConnectTank Wake-up Using Magnet To wake up the Digi ConnectTank device using the magnet, follow the steps described below: 1. Bring the magnet close to the magnet sign on the Digi ConnectTank device to activate the Wake-up button. Battery LED Cellular LED After several seconds, the LEDs will start blinking indicating that the device is up and running.
Digi ConnectTank Cellular and GPS Antenna Digi ConnectTank has internal antennas for cellular and GPS communications. There are no external antennas required to operate the device. While installing the device, make sure that there is adequate network coverage in the area by ensuring that the cellular LED is blinking blue.
Digi ConnectTank is intended to run from the internal battery for two years under recommended operating conditions. To achieve such an extended period of operation, Digi ConnectTank enters into sleep mode for the maximum amount of time, thus reducing the power consumption to the lowest possible levels. Digi ConnectTank Firmware Update Sequence Digi ConnectTank has two update components: • Cellular module • Microcontroller When both the cellular module and the microcontroller firmware are updated, ensure that you update the cellular module before the microcontroller firmware.
