a n d t h e d e v i c e is o p e r a t e d . M a k e s u r e that the O U T P U T
s w i t c h is off (the indicator is out).
4 ) S e t a desired voltage
( V O L T A G E ) . No voltage d e v e l o p s at t h e output terminals
still.
5) S e t a current limit.
Keeping t h e V / I C H E C K s w i t c h d e p r e s s e d , s e t a desired
limit of output current w i t h t h e current adjuster knob ( C U R -
R E N T ) .
6 ) T u r n on output.
T u r n on t h e O U T P U T s w i t c h , a n d t h e preset voltage is out-
put at t h e output terminals w i t h t h e output indicator lit.

If e x c e s s i v e current f l o w s a s w h e n t h e load is s h o r t e d ,
t h e d e v i c e performs c o n s t a n t - c u r r e n t operation at t h e
preset limit of output current a n d t h e output voltage
falls.
(2)
If t h e overvoltage protection level is s e t lower t h a n t h e
preset level of output v o l t a g e , t h e p o w e r s w i t c h will be
turned off by overvoltage protection.

Note:
If it is not preferable to apply current suddenly like to a large
i n d u c t a n c e load, turn t h e current adjuster knob ( C U R R E N T )
fully c o u n t e r c l o c k w i s e a n d i n c r e a s e current gradually after
turning o n t h e output.
