I have not used the ice maker for a while. I filled the water to the required line, waited three minutes and turned it on. It went through with a little of its cycle and then the add water light came on. I tried it again. No go.

Turn off the ice maker, unplug it, and check if the water level is correct. If needed, drain a small amount of water by removing the drain cap at the back, then replace the cap. Plug the unit back in and restart it. If the issue persists, inspect for air in the lines or blockages.

The Frigidaire EFIC111-B-SILVER ice maker may be producing half or tiny ice cubes due to high ambient or water temperature. The manual states that if the water temperature is too high, smaller ice cubes may form. To improve ice size, run the unit in temperatures below 90°F and/or use colder water in the reservoir.
