Need help?
Do you have a question about the HPHV50 and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
There is lots of debris in the large chamber which surrounds the blue holder of the filter. I can find no way to open this chamber in order to remove the debris. Regarding the manual: When I try to open page 7 for the illustrations, I find that the manual has started to repeat itself in French or Spanish. How do I remedy these problems?
To clean the debris from the large chamber surrounding the blue holder of the filter on the HART HPHV50:
1. Remove the battery pack and the filter by pressing the tabs inward and lifting the filter from the screen assembly.
2. Remove the screen assembly from the dust collector.
3. Gently shake or brush off the dust and debris from the screen and surrounding chamber. Wash them if necessary.
4. Use clean cloths to wipe off dirt, dust, oil, or grease. Do not use solvents, as they can damage plastic parts.
To access the correct illustrations, refer to figure 6 on page 7 of the manual.
