This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part

residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.

This unit is designed to be used in the vehi-
cles (DC 12 V - 24 V, NEGATIVE ground
electrical systems).
WARNINGS:
Installation must be performed according to
this installation manual. JVC is not responsible for
issues arising from incorrect installations.
Take the following precautions to prevent traffic
accidents and avoid personal injury.
• Do not install...
– the unit where it may obstruct your view
through the windshield or of your vehicle's
indicator displays.
– the unit where it may hinder the function of
safety devices such as airbags. Doing so may
prevent the airbags from functioning properly
in the event of an accident.
The installation and use suggestions contained
in this manual are subject to any restrictions or
limitations that may be imposed by applicable
law—the purchaser should check applicable
law for any restrictions or limitations before
installing and/or operating this unit.
• DO NOT operate the unit while manipulating
the steering wheel, as this may result in a
traffic accident.
• When you leave from the car, remove the unit
from the cradle and store it in at room tempera-
ture.
CAUTIONS:
Take the following precautions to keep the unit in
proper working order:
• Do not install the unit where it will be exposed to
high levels of humidity, moisture, or dust.
• Use the cigarette lighter adapter only in the car.
• When replacing a fuse in the cigarette lighter
adapter, use only a new one with the proper
rating. Using a fuse with the wrong rating may
cause the unit to malfunction.

first unplug the cigarette lighter adapter from the
car cigarette lighter.

AVERTISSEMENTS :
Prenez les précautions suivantes pour garantir le bon

• N'installez pas l'appareil dans des endroits très

• Utilisez l'adaptateur pour allume-cigare uniquement
dans une voiture.
• Lorsque cela est nécessaire, remplacez le fusible de
l'adaptateur pour allume-cigare par un fusible du
même type, pour ne pas nuire au bon fonctionnement

Siga las precauciones que aparecen a continuación
para evitar accidentes de tráfico y evitar lesiones
personales:
• No instale la unidad
– donde pueda dificultar la visibilidad a través
del parabrisas o impedir la visión de los
indicadores del vehículo.
– donde pueda bloquear el funcionamiento de
los dispositivos de seguridad, como por
ejemplo los airbags. En caso contrario, los

– dass das Gerät die Sicht durch die
Windschutzscheibe oder die Sicht auf die
Instrumente des Fahrzeugs behindert.

Sicherheitsvorrichtungen wie Airbags behindern
kann. Dadurch kann die richtige Funktion der
Airbags im Falle eines Unfalls beeinträchtigt
werden.
Die in dieser Anleitung enthaltenen
Einbauanweisungen und -vorschläge unterliegen
möglicherweise Einschränkungen durch örtlich
geltende Gesetzgebung — der Käufer muss die
gesetzliche Lage bezüglich vor dem Einbau und/oder
Betrieb dieses Geräts prüfen.
• Bedienen Sie das Gerät NICHT während der
Lenkradbetätigung, da dies zu Verkehrsunfällen
führen kann.
• Wenn Sie die Navigation nicht verwenden, nehmen Sie
das Gerät aus der Halterung und lagern es bei
