Before using it for the first time, the
appliance and, in particular, the basket
and the pan, must be cleaned and
"heat-treated" to remove any residue
from production.
Take this opportunity to learn how
the appliance is put together and
get used to handling it.
Cleaning
DANGER to children – danger
of death by suffocation/choking
• Keep the packing material out
of the reach of children.
Dispose of it immediately.
DANGER – risk of fatal electric
shock
• Always remove the mains plug from
the wall socket before cleaning the
appliance.
• The appliance itself must not be
exposed to moisture. Also protect it
from splashes and drops of water.
CAUTION – material damage
• Do not use any caustic, aggressive
or abrasive products for cleaning.
1. Remove all of the packaging
material.
2. Remove the protective film
from the display.
Prior to first use
3. Pull the pan (with the basket inside)
out of the appliance by the handle
against slight resistance.
• Never press the basket release
when you are holding the basket
with the pan in your hand. The
pan will fall down uncontrollably!
4. Put the basket and pan down.
Slide the protective cover forwards
over the basket release and press
on the basket release.
The pan comes loose and you
can take the basket out.
