6. SETTING THE LOCATION PENDANT ID The Location Pendant can be programmed with an infrared ID in the range 1-99, however this range is also used by Touchsafe Pro Buddies and Touchsafe Pro Pagers for Nurse Present mode. Care must be taken to program the Location Pendant with an ID that is not currently being used by any other device. -

TOUCHSAFE PRO PANEL PROGRAMMING From the Touchsafe Pro Master Panel; Logon as an Engineer or a Manager, then from the main menu page touch the Telecare button to open the screen shown below… On-screen keypad Enter Location Pendant 8 Digit ID Set the Enable Location checkbox Call Point ID here... -

8. TESTING THE LOCATION PENDANT Activate the Location Pendant and check the call is displayed on the Nursecall panel. If both the alarm radio transmission and the infrared location information is received, the panel will display “Pendant Location” with details of where the Pendant is located and whose Pendant it is. 9. REPLACING THE BATTERY When the Location Pendant battery is running low; a “Device Status” alarm will be displayed on the Nursecall panel to indicate which Pendant is affected. Always replace the battery within 72 hours of a low battery warning. If the warning changes to CRITICAL replace the battery IMMEDIATELY. -
