Spearhead MD 120/150 Rotary Head OPERATION OPERATION OPERATION OPERATION The Rotary Head was designed for cutting scrub, brush and foliage of up to 4” (100mm) in diameter or multiple branches that have a total cross section area of equivalent size. - Page 15 Spearhead MD 120/150 Rotary Head Once on location, lower the mower deck slightly above the material to be cut, so the mower does not have to start under a load. With the tractor at an idle, engage mower. Bring tractor RPM up to the correct working speed (*) and slowly lower deck to ground level.
- Page 16 Spearhead MD 120/150 Rotary Head WARNING! If bystanders approach within 300 feet while mower is in operation turn mower switch ‘OFF’ immediately. After shutdown, never leave the tractor or allow bystanders to approach within 300 FEET of the unit until all motion stops completely.
- Page 17 Spearhead MD 120/150 Rotary Head Deck Stop A Stop assembly is provided for placement on the connecting boom of the operating machine; it is multi-adjustable for use on 100mm square section or 100/110mm tapered section booms. Its function is primarily to stop the deck coming into contact with the machines arm components when the head is fully angled, but also acts as a support for the unit during transportation.
