8. Getting started

 To start up the device, connect the supplied mains adapter to the connection
socket at the back of the device.
NOTICE!
Possible material damage
Using a non-compatible mains adapter may damage
the device.
 Use only the mains adapter supplied.
 Plug the mains adapter into an easily accessible mains socket
(100–240 V ~ 50/60 Hz).
 Position the wire antenna.
When you connect the under cabinet radio for the first time, the
automatic station search (AMS) starts as soon as a signal is received. The
stations are automatically stored under memory group A. The device
then performs an automatic time synchronisation. SYNC is shown on
the display. This process can take up to 2 minutes. When synchronisation
is complete, the display shows the current time and the radio switches
to standby mode.
If synchronisation takes longer than 5 minutes, FM reception is
insufficient. Select another installation location for the under cabinet
radio or first press the

 Press the catch (A) as shown in the adjacent
illustration and remove the battery holder complete
with battery (B) from the remote control.
 Dispose of the old battery in accordance with legal
regulations.
 Place a new CR2025-type 3 V battery in the holder,

with the positive pole pointing upward. Check the
battery polarity is correct.
 Push the battery holder complete with battery back
into the remote control as far as it will go.
