Using Your Hair Dryer (cont.)
Overheat Protection
If the hair dryer overheats, it will automatically
turn off.
Unplug the hair dryer and allow it to cool for
10–20 minutes before using it again.
Care & Maintenance
This hair dryer does not typically require maintenance.
Keep all vents and openings clear of dirt and dust.
If cleaning is necessary, unplug the hair dryer and
allow it to completely cool. Do not allow the hair dryer
to come in contact with water or allow moisture or
debris to enter the hair dryer while cleaning.
Unplug the hair dryer before cleaning.
Do not let children clean the hair dryer.
Never immerse the hair dryer in water.
You can use a slightly damp cloth to clean the
exterior of the hair dryer. Afterward, dry with a
dry cloth.
Dust and lint can be removed from air intake
openings using a small brush or a vacuum
cleaner brush attachment.
Occasionally clean the filter cap to remove dust
and hairs. Twist the cap counterclockwise to
remove and clockwise to replace.
Note: If the filter cap is twisted too tightly, wrap
a rubber band around the cap for a better grip.
Note: When using this hair dryer near water
(such as in bathrooms), we recommend using
an electrical outlet protected by a Ground Fault
Circuit Interrupter.
