Setting GPS
Before every dive, you should enable the GPS function.
To do so, turn the Selector Ring to "Location". Let the camera connect to
the next satellite and wait until it determines your current GPS location.
The display will show "finding location" while searching for your GPS.
Once your location is defined, you will see the exact coordinates.
Software Updates
Make sure always to have the latest firmware installed on the camera.
Update firmware through the Paralenz App or manually download the
latest update from our website.
Manual Software Update
To update the software manually, follow these steps:
1. Download the latest firmware for your camera from www.paralenz.com.
2. Copy the file ending with .plf onto the root of an empty SD-card (not in
a folder).
3. Make sure the battery has at least 50% power left or is connected
to power. This is essential. You risk breaking your camera if this is not
followed.
4. Insert the SD-card into the slot when the camera is on, or turn the
camera on while the SD-card with the firmware is inserted.
