Sensors The Vaquita 2nd Gen automatically collects important dive data, e.g., water temperature, depth, dive tim, etc. Find more information about the Sensors in “Camera Features”. Auto-DCC Auto-DCC stands for Automatic Depth-Controlled Color Correction. It is a digital version of a color filter, usually made from plastic and placed in front of your camera lens, to remove the green or blue tint in your videos and photos.
Page 10
Why use Auto-DCC? When using Auto-DCC, instead of a plastic color filter, the footage will have more vivid and realistic colors and delivers sharper and brighter images and videos. Photo taken with Auto-DCC on. Photo taken with Auto-DCC off (WB 5000K).
Page 11
How to activate Auto-DCC? Toggle Auto-DCC on/off by pulling the Activation Switch back three times while in Power Mode. IMPORTANT: Do not use dive lights together with the Auto-DCC – this will discolor the image. What is White Balance? White Balance (WB) adjusts the color temperature. Color temperature is measured in Kelvin (K).
