SHUT OFF POWER AT THE CIRCUIT BREAKER OR FUSE
PANEL BEFORE REMOVING THE OLD FIXTURE AND/OR
INSTALLING A NEW ONE.
If unsure whether the electrical box is properly
grounded, or the box is plastic and has no ground wire,
or are unfamiliar with the methods of properly
grounding fixture, consult a qualified electrician.

Install the mounting plate with the two tabs pointing upward. Feed the black supply, white supply and ground wires from electrical box through the central hole of the mounting
plate. Secure the mounting plate to the electrical junction box (J-box) using the mounting screws (AA) provided.
Located at the back of the fixture are 2 hanging tabs which fit into 2 corresponding slots on the lower ledge of the mounting bracket. Lower the fixture and insert the tabs into the
slots on the mounting bracket to attach the fixture temporarily before beginning any wiring.
If the J-box has a ground wire, connect the fixture ground wire to the ground wire in the J-box using wire nut (BB). Ground wires are normally green or bare copper. Connect the
black supply lead with the black fixture wire and the white supply lead with the white fixture wire using wire nuts (BB). Push connections and excess wire into the J-box.
Once the wiring is completed, carefully lift the fixture from its temporary position without pulling the wires out of the J-box. Inside the top of the chassis are 2 notches that
correspond to 2 tabs atop the mounting bracket. Position the fixture over the tabs until it seats, while pivoting the base of the fixture into place over the mounting bracket.
Hold the sconce in place and tighten both screws at the base of the fixture until the sconce is securely mounted.
The sconce uses a built in Dusk-to-Dawn sensor to activate the light.
DIRECTIONAL SENSOR CAP (CC): If the security light cycles ON and OFF, the Dusk-to-Dawn sensor may be activating due to reflected light from a nearby surface.
Place the DIRECTIONAL SENSOR cap firmly over the Dusk-to-Dawn sensor. This should prevent extraneous light from "tripping" the Dusk-to-Dawn sensor.
SENSOR CAP (DD): To disable the Dusk-to-Dawn sensor, install the SENSOR CAP over the Dusk-to-Dawn sensor. This will prevent the Dusk-to-Dawn sensor from controlling
the ON/OFF function and will allow control from the wall switch.
Restore power to the electrical box and verify the light functions properly. Use silicone adhesive caulking (not included) to seal the gap between the wall plate and the mounting
surface to prevent water seepage into the J-box.

1. DO NOT USE THIS FIXTURE IN A CIRCUIT HAVING A DIMMER CONTROL IN THE CIRCUIT.
2. Do not look directly at LEDs for extended period of time.
3. Install in accordance with national and local electrical codes.
4. Turn power off before servicing.
5. Do not leave bare wires exposed.
6. Use Minimum 90°C supply conductors. For additional electrical requirements, see fixture.
7. Do NOT install near other sources of light, which can fool the built-in light sensor into thinking it is
daylight, and may prevent the proper operation of the light.
8. LEDs can be damaged by electrostatic discharge shock. Before installation, discharge yourself by
touching a grounded bare metal surface to remove this hazard.
9. The LEDs in this product are nonserviceable.
