3.
CHARGING
IMPORTANT WARRANTY INFORMATION:
The battery fitted to this lamp is considered to be a consumable item and its ability to accept charge will
reduce over time. We will warranty it against mechanical and electrical defect for a period of one year -
this does not cover fair wear and tear. If the battery is not properly charged before first use, or regularly
conditioned, its capacity will diminish. under these circumstances we will not replace the battery even if it
is less than one year old.
3.1
MAINS: Make sure the torch is switched off before commencing charging.
3.1.1 Plug the charger into the charging socket at the base of the torch.
3.1.2 Plug the transformer plug into the mains supply.
3.1.3 Whilst the torch is charging the bottom LED will light up red.
3.1.4 When charged unplug the charger from the mains supply. unplug the charging lead from the torch.
3.2
VEHICLE PLUG:
3.2.1 Ensure lamp is turned off and then plug the 12 Volt vehicle plug adaptor into the jack inlet on the lamp.
3.2.2 Insert 12V adaptor into vehicle cigarette lighter socket.
3.2.3 When fully charged, unplug the adaptor from the vehicle socket and from the lamp before turning on.
3.2.4 Store the adaptor in a safe, dry location.
noTE: charging the lantern from a 12 Volt vehicle socket will drain the vehicle battery.
noTE: Some vehicles require the ignition to be on to provide power to the cigarette lighter socket.
NOTE: To maintain battery, charge monthly if lamp is not in use.

OPERATION
4.1
Switch the torch on & oFF using the rocker switch in base of torch. Direct the lens away from your eyes
before switching on.
4.2
use the rocker switch to select between the six LED's to use as a torch or the 30 LED,s to use as
inspection lamp.
4.3
To suspend the torch, unclip the hanging hook from behind the top of the light and hinge it upwards.
When the light is hanging from it's hook it can be rotated through 360° for more precise positioning.
NOTE: LED arrays are designed to allow individual LEDs to cease functioning without causing the entire array
to fail. This could be as a result of shock or impact. Shock or impact will invalidate warranty.
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and
packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycle centre and disposed of in a manner which is
compatible with the environment.
When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way.

For battery removal remove all the screws on the rear of the casing.
2.
Split the casing in two, revealing the battery.
3.
cut the negative wire then the positive to remove the battery from the lamp.
4.
Dispose of battery according to local authority guidelines
under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Jack Sealey Ltd are required to inform
