QUICKSTART GUIDE
PCPK-N Manual Pool Cover Pump Kit
This Water Removal Pump Kit is designed to remove water that has
accumulated on swimming pool covers. The kit includes a 25 ft plas-
tic tubing and a hose clamp is provided for attaching the hose to
the pump discharge.
Refer to the pump manual for complete installation, operation, and
hazard details.
This product is covered by a Limited Warranty for a period of 1 year
from the date of original purchase by the consumer. For complete
warranty information, refer to www.LittleGiant.com.
INSTALLATION
Risk of damage to pump or other equipment.
• Do not run pump dry. Running dry will cause serious damage to the pump.
• Do not let the unit freeze. Freezing may cause cracking or distortion that may destroy the unit.
Physical Installation
NOTE: The 90° ¼ x ¼ elbow supplied with Little Giant NK-Series pumps should not be used in pool
cover applications.
1. If using tubing:
• Slide the hose clamp over the tubing.
• Slip the tubing over the pump discharge.
• Tighten the clamp.
2. If using a garden hose:
• Assemble garden hose adapter to the pump dis-
charge.
• Connect garden hose to adapter and tighten.
3. If debris is present, it is recommended to insert the pump
into a nylon stocking for filtration.
4. Place the pump in the center of the pool cover in an upright position.
5. Secure the discharge hose or tubing so the water does not run back onto the pool cover.
