Place the seat on a surface. Push the backrest
downwards into the guides in the lower part of
the seat.
Check that it is fully attached (fig. 2).
Preliminary adjustment of the child seat
Before fitting the child seat in the car, check the
height of the head rest and adjust it if necessary.
How to adjust the height of the head rest
Pull the head rest (A) upwards to raise it. Push
it downwards to lower it (fig. 3). It will click as it
goes from one position to the next.
Warning: a correctly positioned head rest is
essential for the child's safety. Do not remove
the head rest under any circumstances.
Using the child seat
Place the child seat on one of the rear seats or
on the front passenger seat.
Warning: in some countries, the highway code
prohibits the use of child seats on front seats.
Check the highway code of the country you are in.
Warning: do not place the child seat on the front
seat of the vehicle if there is an active airbag.
Warning: do not place the child seat on a seat
that is only fitted with a lap belt.
Warning: do not insert anything between the
child seat and the vehicle seat.
Warning: do not put the child seat on swivel
seats or seats facing the opposite direction to
that in which the vehicle travels.
How to position the child
Position the child seat on the vehicle seat so that
it is fully resting against the base and backrest.
Warning: the safety belt positioning points are
coloured in red. Do not thread the car safety belt
through positions other than those shown.
Place the car's diagonal safety belt strap across
the child's chest (fig. 4).
Pass the belt under the two armrests on the
seat (fig. 5).
Fasten the safety belt (fig. 6).
Thread it through the belt guide (B) (fig. 7).
Tighten the car safety belt well. Ensure that it is
not twisted and that it is securely resting under
the armrests of the seat.
Warning: when travelling, regularly check that
the child is still properly strapped into the seat.
How to unfasten the child
Unfasten the car safety belt, remove it from the
child seat and let it retract.
Maintenance
Remove the covers completely to wash them.
Follow the washing instructions on the label
attached to the covers.
Wash the plastic parts with warm water and
soap. Do not use aggressive cleaning products.
Warning: the covers are an integral part of the
