Important notices

• The laser point indicates the measurement point of the ultrasonic
measurement area, up to which measurement takes place.
• If there are objects or obstructions in the measurement path or if
measurement takes place too close to walls, the resulting reflections
can cause false measurements. Wherever possible, verify the measured
distances along a clear line of sight.
• The device compensates the measurement for different room
temperatures. Therefore allow the device a brief adaptation period
when changing locations with large temperature differences.
• Fluctuations in air pressure or humidity can cause measurement
deviations, and wind noises and other sources of sound can also
falsify the results.
• Carpets, upholstery or curtains do not optimally reflect ultrasound.
Therefore in such cases please use smooth surfaces as aids, such
as shelves, mirrors etc.
• Ultrasound is not able to penetrate through glass (e.g. window panes).
• An energy-saving function switches the device off automatically.
• Clean with a soft cloth. Water may not be allowed to penetrate
the housing.
