2.1 Network topologies
Switching technology allows extensive networks to be set up with numerous nodes and
simplifies network expansion.
Which topologies can be implemented?
Linear (bus) and star topologies can be implemented with the compact switch module CSM 377.
Note
Make sure that the maximum permitted cable lengths for the relevant devices are not exceeded.
You will find the permitted cable lengths in the technical specifications.
