This section describes the sequence of events when you power up and power down the Vanguard 34x. Powering On the The Vanguard 34x does not have a power switch on the unit. Use these steps to Vanguard 34x power on the device: 1) Plug the DC output cable of the power supply into the power socket on the Vanguard 34x back panel.
When powering down the unit, always unplug the power cord from the AC power outlet first (Figure 4-1). Never disconnect or reconnect the power connector from the Vanguard back panel if the power supply is still connected to the AC power outlet (Figure 4-2). Doing so can potentially damage the Vanguard unit.
