Preface
This manual is a technical reference and BIOS document for engineers and technicians who
provide system level support, or who are engaged in the design of system-compatible
products. It is assumed that the reader possesses a fairly detailed understanding of AT-
compatible microprocessor functions and digital addressing techniques.
Technical information that is readily available from other sources, such as manufacturer's
proprietary publications, has not been reproduced.
