    Ridder Moisture Smart Switch. The Ridder Moisture Sensor can be connected to the following Ridder process computers: CX500, MultiMa and HortiMaX-Go!. Only operate the equipment if you are familiar with how these process computers work. This Quick Start Guide describes the use of moisture sensors in combination with the HortiMaX-Go!.

The home screen displays a number of fixed elements, such as the tiles, the top bar and the right sidebar. The screenshot below shows an example of the home screen. What the home screen looks like exactly on your system depends on your configuration.

Step 2: Set the alarm limits and the delay time for the alarms.

    Displaying the measurements Step 1: Tap the magnifying glass icon on the moisture sensor screen. To display the measurement data, tap the magnifying glass icon: You will now see the measured values for the moisture content, the EC and the temperature of the substrate.
  • Page 8 Quick Start Guide for Moisture Sensor Step 4: To see a more detailed overview of the current situation, proceed as follows: On the moisture screen, select the purple icon: Tap the magnifying glass icon: You will see the current measurements and the type and status of the sensor.
  • Page 9 If the substrate is too dry before the pause time has elapsed, the irrigation cycle will start as set. Tip: Ridder offers a wide range of sensors. These can be operated in a similarly simple manner, enabling you to create the ideal growing environment for your crops.
