NTRODUCTION The Hanwha SPC-7000 Network Controller features a jog dial, keypad, and joystick in one com- bined unit. Each component has functionality specific to CompleteView 20/20 which will be detailed in the following sections. Initial physical set up and Windows configuration should be completed per the manufacturer's instructions, located here: https://www.hanwhasecurity.com/spc-7000.html. -
Page 4: Keypad
The diagram below provides an overview of the keypad mappings specific to CompleteView 20/20. Consult the table below for more detail. Not that the Hanwha SPC-7000 keypad cannot recognize multiple keys pressed at the same time (i.e. Shift + Menu/Mouse). For multi-key inputs, depress the keys in succession. - Page 5 Freeze/Alarm navigation keys are designed to switch the active window. Example: Live View is opened in one window and Alarm View is opened in another. If the cur- rent active window is Alarm View but if utilizing PTZ in Live View is desired, first use the Lay- out/Seq button to switch the active window to Live View.

The Hanwha SPC-7000 jog dial may be used to jog and shuttle through recorded video. Hanwha SPC-7000 Jog Dial Functions The diagram below provides an overview of the functions of the jog dial specific to Com- pleteView 20/20. Consult the table below for more detail. - Page 8 Input Behavior selected Event. PLAYBACK: In Playback Review Video, exports a 10-minute video clip starting at the current seek time. In Playback List Search, exports the currently selected video clip. In Playback Thumbnail Search, Record will zoom out to the next set of time divisible thumbnails within the selected thumbnail if possible.

OYSTICK The Hanwha SPC-7000 joystick is used to pan, tilt, and zoom the selected camera. It can also be used as a mouse by pressing SHIFT and the Menu/Mouse button on the keypad. Hanwha SPC-7000 Joystick Functions In addition to using the joystick for PTZ functionality on the selected camera, the button is used to take a snapshot in Live View, Alarm View, or Playback. - Page 10 Input Behavior ALARM VIEW: Takes a snapshot of the Live View tile of the cur- rently selected Event. Note: Snapshots are automatically saved to the Documents folder of the current Windows user. (e.g. C:\Users\< user- >\Documents\Salient Security Platform\CompleteView 2020\Desktop Client)

ROUBLESHOOTING Note that the Hanwha SPC-7000 is not designed to work with multiple open instances of the Desktop Client. In addition, the hardware must be plugged in before the Desktop Client is launched. If the Hanwha SPC-7000 is or becomes unresponsive, begin troubleshooting by restarting the CompleteView 20/20 Desktop Client. -
