When installing 64-bit Microsoft
system installation and system functionality. NOTE: Windows XP must first be installed on the system.
Instructions:
Using Windows CONFIGFLAG Setting (nvrboot utility)
Boot Option settings are stored in nonvolatile RAM (NVRAM). There is a program for setting nonvolatile
RAM named nvrboot.efi .
Boot to the EFI prompt. In the EFI partition of the boot disk, cd to the MSUtil directory. Run nvrboot, and
the screen will appear as indicated below:
Note: In the example below, lines 2 to 5 may look different or may not be present. Option 7 (Boot
Options) will always be present. In case the EFI option is not present, Boot Options can be used to add
it. Windows Boot Option will be added automatically during OS installation.
Note: Bold letters are system prompts and underlined italics are user responses.

Fs0:\> cd msutil
fs0:\MSUtil> nvrboot
