Inserting and Deleting Presets

After scenes have been assigned to the Preset Masters, it is possible to insert a
new cue between two adjacent faders. Also, a preset may be deleted, and the
rest of the scenes will be moved to fill the empty space. These functions are
performed with the Insert and Delete functions in the Preset menus.
The Insert function is used to record a new cue to an already-used Preset fader.
Instead of being overwritten, as would be the case with a simple record, the
original scene is preserved. To insert a cue, first press the Preset menu button
under the display. Rotate the data wheel to the right until the following display
shows:
Insert Preset
Select W/Bump
Press the bump button of the preset fader that you wish to record as a new
cue. For example, if the bump button for Preset 10 is pressed, the LP1600 will
respond:
27
