Dear Customers,
Thank you for purchasing a Rockrider electrically-assisted bike.
We invite you to read the instruction manual to get the most out of your ROCKRIDER E-ST500
bike.
Never forget that an electrically-assisted bike is not a moped. It needs your help to go further,
faster and longer.
We suggest that you learn how to use your electrically-assisted bike in an open area in order
to get used to the feel of the motor kicking in and thus ensure optimum control of your bicycle.
An electrically-assisted bike is heavier than a conventional bike (the weight of the ROCKRI-
DER E-ST500 on its own is 22,9 kg). Without power assistance, pedalling can be more diffi-
cult.
You must always make sure you are capable of riding the entire journey without assistance,
in case your battery runs flat.
Here is what you need to do to get the most out of your ROCKRIDER power-assisted bike.
Important, this instruction manual only applies to the electrical characteristics of
your bicycle.
You should refer to the B'TWIN user manuals common to all our bicycles that ac-
company this document and are also available on our website www.decathlon.com
or on request in our DECATHLON stores.
