Cleaning and maintenance
• Your appliance must be switched OFF at the mains supply socket then
unplugged before proceeding with any cleaning and maintenance.
• If there's excessive foreign matter or dust attached to the body or fins, the
performance will be affected. It is therefore recommended to dust the surfaces
once every other month.
• Surface cleaning
1. Clean the housing with a lightly damp cloth, a vacuum cleaner or a dusting
brush.
2. Use ordinary detergents and soft-bristle brushes for cleaning. Do not wash
with corrosive detergents or solvents.
• Never immerse the appliance in water!
• Clean the air inlet and outlet grilles (top and bottom) regularly with a vacuum
cleaner.
• If the appliance is not used for an extended period it must be protected from
exposure to excessive dust and dirt. Store in a dry place away from sunlight
and dirt.
