Introduction This white paper provides the step-by-step instructions necessary to create and deploy operating system images onto HP Compaq dc7700 Business PCs with RAID Striping (mode 0) or RAID Mirroring (mode 1) capability. To create and deploy images: Find the RAID drivers, and then create the PXE images. -

Using the C:\SWSetup\SP33181\f6flpy32.exe program, create the RAID driver floppy. Configure BIOS for RAID. For more information, see the white paper titled “Redundant Array of Inde- pendent Disks (RAID) on HP Compaq dc7700 and dx7300 Business PCs.” Boot from the Windows XP Professional CD-ROM. -

Extract the contents of the DEPLOY.CAB file located on the installation CD at D:\SUPPORT\TOOLS\ (assuming D is the CD-ROM drive letter) into the Sysprep folder. In the Sysprep folder, create a new text file called Sysprep.inf.
