If the A n t i - J a c k i n gopti o n has been programmed (ask your dealer if you woul d li k e
to have this opti o n) and the Igni t ion-Ki l l has been instal l ed , the Panic Mode works
as Anti - Jacking if the key i s i n the i g ni t ion. If Anti-Jacking mode i s activated whi l e key
is i n the i g ni t i o n, a) the siren will go off for 1.5 minutes, and b) the Ignition-Kill
will be activated after the first 30 seconds. This is to give a 30 second warn-
ing to the hijacker, then to disconnect the ignition to stop the vehicle.
Valet Mode
Whil e the vehicle is i n valet mode, the only features that wil l functi o n wi l l be the keyless
entry and optional auxi l iary functions.
In order to enter Valet mode, press the
second. In order to manuall y enter Val e t Mode, insert your key into the igni t ion and turn
the igniti o n on and off

Timer Start Mode
In Ti m er Start Mode, your car automati c ally starts every 1.5 or 3.0 hours, depending on
preset opti o ns during the time of install a ti o n, for a 24-hour period. This mode is cancelled
automaticall y after 24 hours or once you start your vehi c le wi t h the key or remote. In order
to enter Timer Start Mode, press the

Safety Shut Down Features
The CompuStar R1700-F900 system has several shut down safety features.
The following actions will shut down the engine or prevent the car from auto-starting
: Opening the hood, pressing the brake, or if valet mode is turned on.
OPTIONAL PROGRAMMABLE FEATURES
These additional features may be programmed to the CompuStar system by your
authorized CompuStar dealer.
Ignition Lock
Automatic Transmission Vehicles:
This progammabl e option wil l automatical l y lock the vehicle doors once the key i s in the
ignition and the brake pedal i s pressed. The doors will unlock as soon as the key is
removed from the i g niti o n.
Manual Transmission vehicle:
This progammabl e option wil l automatical l y lock the vehicle doors once the key i s in the
ignition and the brake pedal i s pressed. The doors will automaticall y unlock when the
emergency brake is set whil e the vehi c le is running with the key.
Passive Locking
You can turn this functi o n on or off by pressing the
second. When set to passive locki n g, your system will lock automatical l y, 30 seconds
after al l the doors/ hatch have been closed.
Turbo Mode
If this optional Turbo Mode has been programmed at the time of installation,
