THE HOME CUT / TOOL TIPS PREPPING YOUR NEW TOOL MAINS OPERATION - A plastic cover has been placed over the plug to protect it from damage. Remove the plastic cover before inserting into suitable power outlet. Ensure Fig. 3 your new clipper is switched off before plugging into a power outlet.

THE HOME CUT / TOOL TIPS OILING THE BLADES To get the sharpest, most precise cut, it is highly recommended to oil the blades before each use. Using the oil supplied with your new clipper, unscrew the cap & cut off the very end of the plastic tube with a pair of scissors to release the oil.

The top edge of the large blade should be 0.5mm to 1.2mm higher than the top edge of the small blade (see Fig.4). This is important so that the clipper does not cut too close, or come into contact with the skin.
