Normal operation: The Green LED will remain illuminated if the batteries have sufficient power to run the GLD/450plus. If the Green LED is not illuminated the batteries in the KANE425/450 must be replaced. In fresh air the unit will bleep about twice a second and the Yellow LED will also flash.

If the Red LED is illuminated and the bleeping is continuous before you have pin-pointed the gas leak, you must reset the GLD/450plus in this concentration of gas. To do this switch the GLD/450plus OFF, then back ON and wait for 20 seconds to allow the sensor to reset itself in this concentration of gas.
