    2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 2.1 Installation • Remove all the packaging. • Do not install or use a damaged appliance. • Follow the installation instructions supplied with the appliance. • Always take care when moving the appliance as it is heavy. Always use safety gloves and enclosed footwear.

    DAILY USE 9.2 To achieve best drying results • The selected programme must be adequate to the type of dried clothes. • The filter must be clean. Clogged filter makes drying inefficient. • It is recommended to shake items before loading. Loose items are more liable for drying.

    DAILY USE 9.5 Auto Off function To decrease the energy consumption, the Auto Off function turns the appliance off automatically: • if the Start/Pause touch button is not touched within 5 minutes. • 5 minutes after a cycle ends. Push the On/Off button to turn on the appliance. If the appliance is on, some indications appear on the display.

HINTS AND TIPS 10.1 Ecological hints • Spin the laundry well before drying. • Do not exceed the load sizes which are specified in the programs chapter. • Clean the filter after each drying cycle. • Do not use fabric softener to wash and then dry. In the tumble dryer laundry becomes soft automatically.
