To delete files from the Panasonic HC-V380 that still appear on your computer in `D:\PRIVATE\AVCHD\BDMV\STREAM`, follow these steps:
1. Use the Camera’s Built-in Delete Function: - Switch the unit to Playback Mode using the recording/playback button. - Navigate to the file you want to delete. - Use the menu options to delete the scene or still picture. - Note that some files, such as those recorded in Stop Motion Animation Assist Mode or during Highlight Playback, cannot be deleted.
2. Delete via Computer: - Connect the camera or SD card to your computer. - Navigate to `D:\PRIVATE\AVCHD\BDMV\STREAM`. - Manually delete the unwanted files. - Be aware that deleting files this way may remove associated metadata or cause playback issues on the camera.
3. Format the SD Card (if needed): - If files persist or playback issues occur, back up necessary data. - Use the camera’s format function to erase all data on the card.
Some files recorded by other devices or protected files may not be deletable directly from the camera.
