Do not mutilate, puncture, or dispose of the battery in fire. The battery can
burst or explode, releasing hazardous chemicals.
A rechargeable battery pack must be recycled or disposed of properly.

2. Connect the ac adapter

Use only an HP F1044B ac adapter (the type shipped with the OmniBook)
not use an ac adapter from another product. Using an improper adapter could
damage the OmniBook and will make your warranty invalid.
1. Plug the power cord into the ac adapter, then into a grounded ac outlet.
2. Plug the connector from the ac adapter into the socket on the left side panel of
the OmniBook.

The charging light shows the charging status. An orange color indicates that the
adapter is charging your computer's removable battery; the light will turn green
when the battery pack is fully charged.
