SELF PROGRAMMING
First, turn Off the radio,
then operate keys to enter each mode.

Self Programming Timer is 20 seconds
Mode Entry
1. Hold PWR + PTT + UP to enter the mode.
Indications
1. Yellow LED lights.
2. Announces "Self" + "Channel One"
Operations
1. Use the [Up], [Down] keys to select the
channel.
2. Confirm the channel by press [PTT]. Radio will
go to frequency setup after channel
confirmation mode.
3. Use the [Up], [Down] keys to select frequency
from the frequency table and table number will

be announced.
Table Up
4. Press [PTT] to confirm the selected frequency,
radio will go on to QT/DQT setup mode. "QT"

will be announced in the QT/DQT setup mode.
Table Down
5. Use the [Up], [Down] keys to select QT or
PTT
DQT setup mode. "QT" or "DQT" will be
announced when selected. Press [PTT] to
DQT Mode
confirm the setup mode.
6. In the QT/DQT setup mode, select QT/DQT
from the QT/DQT table, and table number will
QT Mode
be announced.
7. Press [PTT] to confirm the table number.
PTT
Radio will go back to Channel select mode.
QT/DQT
8. Repeat the step 1 to 7 to setup another
Table Up
channel's frequency & QT/DQT.
9. To save & exit, hold [PF2] + [PTT] for 3 sec., a
QT/DQT
confirmation tone sounds and radio is reset
Table Down
and back to normal operation mode.
PTT
10. To exit without save, press & hold [PWR].
Power off tone sounds and radio is off.
