Begin by removing the old cone and coil from the woofer. Use a sharp knife, carefully cutting the surround, spider and tinsels. You can also use a heat gun (carefully!) to warm the parts to around 110 degrees. This will soften the adhesive sufficiently to strip the speaker without cutting.

fit the dustcap we recommend to use strips of masking tape in closely arranged straight lines to form a circular mask - this will prevent excess glue from contaminating the new cone. Apply an even bead of adhesive and make sure the dust cap is pressed on centrally and firmly.
