It is extremely important for the operator to be thoroughly familiar with the Versalift aerial device. Study the information in this manual and the Versalift controls until both are completely mastered. Then go to a large, open area to practice using the aerial lift.
The following sketches illustrate some of the unsafe situations that might occur during the use or operation of the Versalift. Some of these safety problems are very basic and as a result are often taken for granted. Don’t park the truck on a hill unless absolutely necessary.
