Maintenance
Air Filter Replacement
To change the air filters, open the front doors of the
cabinet. The air filters are accessed from inside the cabinet
(except for upflow units with rear return). For upflow units,
the filters are located behind the air intake grilles. For
downflow units, the filters are located at the top where the
label "FILTER ACCESS" appears. Remove the old filters
from the trays. Insert the new filter(s) ensuring the
directional airflow arrows on the filters are correct, then
close the front doors.
Recommended Maintenance
Monthly
1. Perform all weekly maintenance procedures.
2. Check for the filter cleanliness.
3. Confirm there is no obstructions in filter.
4. Check for the blower turns.
5. Verify the blower belts.
6. Ensure the condensate drain is open.
7. Inspect chilled water for air, bleed if necessary.
8. Confirm the humidifier cylinder and controls operate
properly.
Semi-Annually
1. Perform all monthly procedures.
2. Tighten the electrical connections.
3. Check contacts on contactors for pitting.
4. Clean the unit as necessary.
5. Clean the condensate pump.
6. Clean the coils.
7. Verify the heat/reheat is operational.
Annually
1. Perform all weekly and monthly procedures.
2. Inspect chilled water system for leaks and corrosion.
3. Conduct a complete check of all services listed above
and clean the unit's interior.
