  • Page 5 ASSEMBLING AND PREPARING Button Description MENU Accesses the main menus.(See p.13) OSD LOCKED/ This function allows you to lock the current control settings, so UNLOCKED that they cannot be inadvertently changed. Press and hold the MENU button for several seconds. The message "OSD LOCKED" should appear. You can unlock the OSD controls at any time by pushing the MENU button for several seconds. The message "OSD UNLOCKED" should appear. SUPER ENERGY Use this button to enter SUPER ENERGY SAVING menu.For SAVING Button more information.(See p.15) 3D display settings.(See p.14) AUTO When adjusting your display settings, always press the AUTO button on the MONITOR SETUP OSD.     ASSEMBLING AND PREPARING Setting up the Monitor set Detaching the Stand Base and Body Attaching the Stand Base Place the Monitor set with the screen side down on a flat and cushioned surface. Place the Monitor set with the screen side Turn the screw to the left, and then pull out the down on a flat and cushioned surface. Stand Base from the Stand Body. U se only screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard. Any damages or injuries by misuse or using an improper accessory are not covered by the warranty. NOTE Use the screws that are listed on the VESA standard screw specifications. The wall mount kit will include an installation manual and necessary parts. The wall mount bracket is optional. You can obtain additional accessories from your local dealer.

(Enabled only for HDMI VIDEO TIMING) SIDE BY SIDE Left and right pictures are arranged in Side by Side layout. TOP & BOTTOM Left and right pictures are arranged in Top and Bottom layout. LINE INTERLACED Left and right pictures are arranged in line by line. Turns off 3D Mode. 3D L/R CHANGE Changes which frame is shown to each eye. Odd lines are Right picture and even lines are Left picture. Odd lines are Left picture and even lines are Right picture. 3D - > 2D Converts 3D images into 2D. (Enabled only for HDMI VIDEO TIMING) Displays images in 3D.

So,those values should be different from each panel and panel vendor. LG calculated these values by using “broadcast video signal”. LED Saving refers to how much power can be saved using a WLED Panel instead of CCFL panel. SUPER SAVING refers to how much power can be saved using the SUPER ENERGY SAVING function.

The setting method can differ by computer and O/S (Operation System), and resolution mentioned above may not be supported by the video card performance. In this case, please ask to the computer or the video card manufacturer.     PRECAUTIONS TO TAKE WHEN VIEWING 3D IMAGES PRECAUTIONS TO TAKE WHEN VIEWING 3D IMAGES If you view images in the 3D mode for a long period of time (playing games, watching movies etc.), you may feel dizzy. We strongly recommend you to take a rest after one hour of viewing 3D. (The time of experiencing dizziness varies depending on the individual.) Please view 3D images at the optimal viewing angle and at the recommended distance from the product. Otherwise, 3D images may appear to be overlapped or may not be displayed properly. If you view 3D images too closely for a long period of time, this may result in dizziness or blurred vision. Please use the device at the recommended distance. If you are pregnant, elderly or have heart problems, we recommend that you do not view 3D images. This is because the 3D images can cause disorientation and confusion. 3D images can also cause nausea or vomiting for users under the influence of alcohol. In this situation, please do not view 3D images. Parents/guardians should monitor children’s viewing of 3D images because they may not be used to the 3D viewing experience and lack knowledge on how to handle potential risks. Do not use the 3D glasses as regular glasses, sunglasses or goggles. This may cause your vision to worsen. Do not keep the 3D glasses in an extremely hot or cold place.
