Onboard LAN1/LAN2 Boot ROM
Allows you to decide whether to activate the boot ROM integrated with the onboard LAN chip.
(Default: Disabled)
Onboard SATA/IDE Device (GIGABYTE SATA2 Chip)
Enables or disables the IDE and SATA controllers integrated in the GIGABYTE SATA 2 chip. When
this item is set to Disabled, the Smart Backup Function and Smart Backup Initial items will
become unavailable. (Default: Enabled)
Smart Backup Function
Enables or disables the Smart Backup function.

Smart Backup Initial
To change hard drives connected to the GS0-Source and GS1 connectors at the same time, set this
item to Enabled
Enabled. It will revert back to Disabled after the system restarts.) (Default: Disabled)
Onboard Serial Port 1
Enables or disables the first serial port and specifies its base I/O address and corresponding
interrupt. Options are: Auto, 3F8/IRQ4 (default), 2F8/IRQ3, 3E8/IRQ4, 2E8/IRQ3, Disabled.

When this item is enabled and the system is restarted, a message will appear which says
"Initializing storage policy, please wait..." during the POST. After the initialization, the system
will restart automatically and display a message which says " Wait Smart Backup Hard
Drives Ready (ESC to skip)..." while waiting for hard drive access. This is a normal process.
