Camera
• MONOCHROME: Tap ORIGINAL for a grayscale photo, SKETCH to render the photo
in a drawn style, or VIGNETTE to capture a grayscale photo with a soft-edge effect.

to take the picture.
Using Manual Camera Mode
You can use the Manual camera mode to adjust more camera options for your photo,
such as ISO, white balance, and exposure.
1. Press the Home Key >
> MANUAL.

2. Aim the camera at the subject. You can make the following adjustments.
• Drag the green circle to any area on the screen that you want to focus on.
• Drag the yellow square to any area on the screen where you want the camera
to meter exposure so as to adjust the photo brightness. Press and hold to lock
exposure.
• Tap
to unfold more options, including shutter speed, ISO, overall exposure, white
balance, interval for time-lapse photos, and focus.
3. Tap
to take the photo.
Using Other Camera Modes
Besides capturing photos in the traditional way, your Camera app offers other powerful
and interesting camera modes. Tap
• PANORAMA: Capture panorama photos.
• MULTI EXPOSURE: Capture multiple photos to create collages and special effects.
• TIME-LAPSE: Set the time interval between each frame when you record time-lapse
videos with the back camera.
• SLOW MOTION: Capture slow-motion video clips.
• SPORTS: Keep the focus on moving objects.

Recording a Video
1. Press the Home Key >
> VIDEO.
2. Aim the camera at the subject and make any necessary adjustments. You can
tap any area on the screen that you want the camcorder to focus on before and
during recording.
3. Tap
to start recording. You can tap
to save the frame as a photo.
4. Tap
to stop recording.
NOTES:
• You can pinch or spread your fingers on the screen to zoom in or out before and
during recording.
• When you tap the screen to focus during recording, the exposure bar appears beside
the focus point. You can drag
up or down to adjust the exposure. Press and hold the
focus point to lock the focus.
• To capture slow-motion or time-lapse video, tap

to start recording and
to stop. In Slow Motion mode, you can tap
pause or resume recording. In Time-Lapse mode, you can tap
a photo.
Customizing Camera and Video Settings
Before capturing a photo or video, you can tap

• Resolution: (front and rear camera) Set the image size for your photo.
• Video quality: (Video mode) Set the quality for your video.
• Point-and-shoot: (front camera) Tap the viewfinder screen to take a photo.
• Mirror image: (front camera) Take a mirror photo.
