Device maintenance
The device maintenance feature provides an overview of the status of your device's battery,
storage, memory, and system security. You can also automatically optimize the device with a
tap of your finger.
The device maintenance screen may appear differently depending on the region or
service provider.
Using the quick optimization feature
On the Settings screen, tap Device maintenance → FIX NOW or OPTIMIZE NOW.
The quick optimization feature improves device performance through the following actions.
• C learing some memory.
• D eleting unnecessary files and closing apps running in the background.
• M anaging abnormal battery usage.
• S canning for crashed apps and malware.
