e Align the seam with the center of the zipper,
and then baste the zipper in place.

g Attach the presser foot holder to the right side
of the pin of zipper foot "I".

CAUTION
● When using zipper foot "I", be sure to use a
center needle position, and slowly turn the
handwheel toward you to check that the needle
does not touch the presser foot. If a different
stitch is selected and the needle hits the presser
foot, the needle may bend or break.

this type of zipper for side openings and back
openings.
