Installing the Printer Driver Using USB This section explains how to install printer drivers using USB. Important ❒ Make sure that machine is connected to the computer's USB ports using the USB interface cable. Before installing, check that only the operating system is running on the compu- ter and no print jobs are in progress.

Troubleshooting USB Problems The machine is not automatically recognized. Windows has already configured the USB set- tings. Installing the Printer Driver Using USB Solutions Turn off the power of the machine, reconnect the USB cable, and then turn it on again. Open Windows' Device Manager, and then, under [Universal Serial Bus controllers], remove any conflicting devices.
