4. With the engine in a level position, fill to the upper limit with the
recommended oil (see page 34).
Some oil will remain in the engine after draining. When refilling
with fresh oil, start with less than 2 oz (0.08 L). Slowly add enough
oil to fill to the upper limit as shown below.
Running the engine with a low or excessive oil level can cause
engine damage. This type of damage is not covered under the
Distributor's Limited Warranty (U.S.) / Distributor's Warranty (CA.).
5. Reinstall the oil filler cap securely.
If any oil is spilled, be sure to wipe it.
Wash your hands with soap and water after handling used oil.
