Lower the presser foot and pull the buttonhole lever
down as far as it will go.

NOTE:
The reference lines on the buttonhole foot can be
used as a positioning guide.
Make sure there is no gap between the slider and
front stopper, otherwise the buttonhole will be out of
position or there will be a sewing gap.

Start sewing while pulling the needle thread lightly to
the left. After sewing a few stitches, free the thread
and continue sewing.
NOTE:
If you start sewing without pulling down the buttonhole
lever, the LCD screen will show a warning and
the machine will stop after a few stitches. Pull the
buttonhole lever down and start sewing.
