PROBLEM
The toaster does not work.
Bread remains stuck in the
appliance.
The bread is over-toasted
or under-toasted.
The bread will come
out almost immediately
without being toasted.
The toaster is emitting
smoke.
The cord is damaged.
DISPOSING OF THE PACKAGING AND THE PRODUCT
The packaging is made up of environmentally-safe materials and can be
discarded along with other recyclable materials. To dispose of the product,
check with the appropriate service in your area.
Take part in environmental protection!
Your product contains a number of recoverable or recyclable materials.
Take these to a collection centre, or to a certified service centre for
processing.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Make sure the plug is well connected to the power outlet.
If the toaster still does not work, take it to a certified
KRUPS service centre.
Unplug the toaster and let it cool down. Remove the
bread out carefully. Make sure you do not damage the
heating elements when you remove the bread. Never use
a metallic object to remove the bread.
Check the selected setting. Select a lower level if
your bread is over-toasted, or a higher level if it is
undertoasted.
Makes sure the defrost or reheat buttons have not been
selected.
Make sure you fully push down the lever to the bottom.
Also check that the reheat button has not been selected.
If the bread is still not in the toaster, take your toaster to a
certified KRUPS service centre.
Perhaps the setting level is too high or the toaster
requires cleaning. Press the STOP button to interrupt the
toasting and unplug the toaster.
If the toaster cord is damaged, it must be replaced at a
certified KRUPS service centre.
